TIMBER
Most timber furniture has been polyurethane coated & sealed & therefore does not require the use of furniture polish to enhance it’s natural luster.
Simply wipe along the grain with a slightly damp soft cloth on a weekly basis. Do not use this method if the top surface is cracked of broken as this will allow moisture under the sealed surface.
Exposure to direct sunlight will result in fading & drying out of oiled furniture.
Furniture with ‘natural coatings’ must be protected with the recommended waxes or oils as drying out of the timber may result in timber cracking & twisting.
BEDS AND MATRESSES
Regular vacuuming of your mattress will help remove dust & dirt which may trigger asthma & other related allergies.
Body contouring (or hollowing) of today’s modern mattresses with deep quilted comfort layers is a common occurrence & is not considered a fault, in fact it is beneficial for the mattress to hug the body’s contours therefore giving support to the areas that need it.
It is recommended to turn the mattress end to end every 3 months, & by doing so will extend the life of your bed & quality of sleep you receive.
